Mamen Ram\u00edrez<\/h2><\/div>Counsellor and Psychologist in M\u00e1laga<\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space]<\/div><\/p>\nI am a psychologist who received my degree from the University of Granada, Spain. I also hold a master’s in Human Resources. After working in recruitment and training for several years in Spain and the UK (where I lived for six years) and having thought thoroughly about it, I decided to change my professional career.![\"mamen](\"https:\/\/counsellingmalaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/mamenrs-counsellor-malaga-219x300.jpg\")

Having been inspired by the rewarding feeling I had had several years before, when I was a psychologist volunteer helping people who had drug and alcohol issues, I decided to start my counselling journey and I studied for three years to become a fully qualified counsellor in the UK. The decision I made at that time allowed me to work on what is my passion, helping and supporting people, and every day I am very grateful for that.<\/p>\n
I worked at two of the well-known addiction treatment centres in the UK and I volunteered at a charity that helps people recover from addiction and also supports their families. In addition to this, I was a volunteer counsellor helping people who suffer from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and loss, loneliness, relationship difficulties, amongst others.<\/p>\n
I moved back to Spain in the summer of 2018 and now I live in Costa del Sol, M\u00e1laga. I currently have my consultancy room at Centro Badab\u00e9 de Psicolog\u00eda, in Arroyo de la Miel (Benalm\u00e1dena). I also facilitate individual and group therapy in English and Spanish at Marbella Recovery, in Marbella.<\/p>\n
I am dedicated and passionate about my job and I find helping people very rewarding.<\/p>\n
I am registered with the COPAO (College of Psychologists in Andalusia) and I follow their code of Ethics.<\/p>\n

I worked at two of the well-known addiction treatment centres in the UK and I volunteered at a charity that helps people recover from addiction and also supports their families. In addition to this, I was a volunteer counsellor helping people who suffer from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and loss, loneliness, relationship difficulties, amongst others.<\/p>\n
I moved back to Spain in the summer of 2018 and now I live in Costa del Sol, M\u00e1laga. I currently have my consultancy room at Centro Badab\u00e9 de Psicolog\u00eda, in Arroyo de la Miel (Benalm\u00e1dena). I also facilitate individual and group therapy in English and Spanish at Marbella Recovery, in Marbella.<\/p>\n
I am dedicated and passionate about my job and I find helping people very rewarding.<\/p>\n
I am registered with the COPAO (College of Psychologists in Andalusia) and I follow their code of Ethics.<\/p>\n
